Cambro Manufacturing has expanded its distribution facility in California by 67% by combining warehouse space which was formerly housed by a third party facility.
This will support continued development and release of new products and assembly operations of Cambro’s “ever-expanding” equipment line.
The company held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the new facility opening which was hosted by Cambro’s senior management team including Argyle Campbell, president and CEO, Helen Hardenbergh, director of logistics and Shawn Stoeckline, operations manager.
With the addition of 214,000 ft2 the Cambro Southern California distribution center now occupies a total of 534,000 ft2. Initial racking adds 14,500 pallet positions to the distribution center with an additional 77,000 ft2 remaining available for future racking.
Mr Campbell said: “This facility will help Cambro customers receive faster product shipments thanks to higher stocking levels of both new and popular products.”
“The key benefit of this expansion is to provide outstanding service to our valued customers. Along with world-class quality, that’s what we’re all about.”
Cambro Manufacturing is based in Huntington Beach, California, USA, and is a manufacturer and supplier of equipment and supplies to the foodservice industry.
