BK Resources hands new role to industry veteran


BK Resources has appointed foodservice equipment and supply veteran David L. Bernstein to the newly created role of director of business development.

The manufacturer of stainless steel restaurant and bar equipment announced that Bernstein would be responsible for business development, relationship management, key account strategy and overall revenue growth.

Bernstein joins the BK team with a wealth of industry expertise accumulated over 35 years working with dealers, plumbing wholesalers, buying groups, national chains, and service agencies.

The company’s vice president of sales and marketing, Matt Woelfer, said: “What David brings to BK Resources is the foundational insight to retain and grow business with his experience, knowledge, and negotiation skills which are all necessary to stay in the forefront of this competitive market.”

His accomplished career includes serving as a manufacturer agent and leading sales and marketing at Dormont for 23 years.

Most recently, he served as vice president of business development for Diversified Foodservice Supply LLC.

BK Resources is a leading supplier of stainless steel products, plumbing supplies, gas hoses, and water filters to foodservice dealers and plumbing wholesalers across the U.S. Canada, and Latin America.
