Illinois-based foodservice equipment manufacturer Antunes has raised $78,000 for its corporate charity partner Splash through the company’s annual golf outing.
The company, which specializes in countertop cooking and water filtration solutions for global operations, held the event on September 6, at St. Andrew’s Golf & Country Club in West Chicago.
All funds raised went to Splash, a non-profit organization which brings clean water to children throughout the world.
Jane Antunes Bullock, vice president of administration with Antunes, said: “Our partners, sponsors and team members continue show their generosity when it comes to supporting Splash.
“Our eighth annual golf outing was another wonderful event that raised a record amount for this worthy cause.”
Glenn Bullock, the firm’s CEO, added: “We look forward to continuing our partnership with Splash and working with them to maximize the impact of this donation in the communities they serve with clean water and hygiene programs.”
In total, the annual golf outings have raised nearly $370,000 to assist Splash, which is also supported by Antunes on an ongoing basis through financial donations from other corporate initiatives and events.
Antunes also serves as a valued product supplier for Splash, the organization having purchased and installed more than 1,140 of the company’s water filtration systems that provide clean water to more than 430,000 people each day.
