Foodservice equipment company Alto-Shaam has pledged that its operations will continue, both in the US and internationally, in spite of difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Alto-Shaam provides equipment to cook, hold, chill and display food in foodservice establishments, and promises to continue supporting other essential businesses during this time.
Customers it is currently working with include convenience stores, restaurants, and commercial kitchens in hospitals and throughout the healthcare sector.
Its technical support team is on hand to advise should any maintenance issues occur, and even its chefs are still working to provide culinary inspiration to Alto-Shaam customers.
The Alto-Shaam production facility in Wisconsin continues to manufacture the full range of kitchen equipment solutions, including hot holding equipment and exclusive Vector Multi-Cook Ovens.
Furthermore, Alto-Shaam continues to maintain its QuickShip program for same-day/next-day shipping on its most popular product models in select regions.
Alto-Shaam president and chief operating officer Steve Maahs said: “As a family-owned business, we believe it’s important to come together as a family during this global pandemic for our customers, partners and employees.
“Our products support healthcare facilities, grocery stores, convenience stores, public service agencies, and more. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue production and support for these essential businesses and other customers, as they work to feed our everyday heroes and their communities.”
