Alto-Shaam puts down a marker for growth in Asia-Pacific region

Alto-Shaam has hired Paul Harper as vice president Asia-Pacific in a move to further its international ambitions.

He is tasked with leading and executing Alto-Shaam’s sales growth strategies in the Asia-Pacific region, including strategic management, growing the distributor network and developing new sales opportunities.

Harper has extensive experience in the foodservice equipment industry, having worked for two global oven and kitchen equipment manufacturers.

Immediately prior to joining Alto-Shaam, he worked as international sales director for refrigeration brand Adande, growing sales by 21% across Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pacific and South America.

Lucy McQuillan, executive vice-president of global sales for Alto-Shaam, said: “Asia-Pacific is an important region for us and Paul has a proven track record working for established, international foodservice companies. We look forward to harnessing his skills and experience to build the Alto-Shaam brand in the region and develop sales.”

Alto-Shaam continues to see organic growth of both domestic and international business, achieving record-breaking growth in 2018.

Through the development of innovative new products, growth of customer channels and superior customer service, the company continues to be a top performer in global markets.
