Alto-Shaam pushes self-rotisserie into overseas markets

Alto-Shaam, the global manufacturer of commercial ovens for foodservice and retail operations, is gearing up to launch its new self-cleaning rotisserie oven in Europe.

The company will be exhibiting its new rotisserie oven at Internorga trade show in Hamburg, March 15-19.

Alto-Shaam’s new rotisserie oven features an automatic grease collection system, a self-cleaning cycle, and aesthetic design.

The new ovens are designed to be very safe and easy to use and save significant time and labor costs for deli and foodservice operators.

With a cooking capacity of 21 chickens, weighing 3-1/2 pounds each, the oven cooks each load faster while using 20% less electricity.

Meanwhile, it will also be showcasing the Multi-Cook ovens comprise the ‘H’ and the ‘F’ series: the compact Vector H-Series countertop model has a 533mm footprint and ventless operation.

It is available with two, three or four oven chambers and has the ability to combine oven chambers to cook taller food items such as turkeys or roasts.

Operators can control the temperature, fan speed and time in each individual oven chamber for maximum flexibility, allowing them to simultaneously cook a variety of menu items with no flavour transfer.

The company said the model can cook twice as much food up to two times faster than their traditional counterparts.
