Accurex has been awarded a contract by Lambeau Field, the stadium of the Green Bay Packers, to help outfit its new Marketplace Kitchen.
The leader in kitchen ventilation systems was deemed a natural fit for the project given the need for a clean, unobtrusive design, due to its proven performance and dedication to engineering simplicity.
The Marketplace Kitchen is due to open for the 2019 season and will provide the widest variety of menu items available to fans throughout Lambeau Field.
Featuring an open cooking concept, the back of house food prep area will occupy about 755 square feet, while the front of house fan experience will garner roughly 1,840 square feet, ensuring more room for fans than any other location in the stadium.
The open concept nature of the kitchen will bring about a unique set of challenges when designing the right commercial kitchen ventilation system.
Navigating the complexities of the ductwork, ensuring proper air flow and performance in an open space, along with seamlessly integrating with existing equipment are important considerations for the project.
Brian Rivet, the director of brand strategy at Accurex spoke of his delight at the project – especially given that he is a Packers supporter himself.
He said: “These projects allow us to showcase how Accurex works in partnership with our customers to fully understand their needs and create a complete commercial kitchen ventilation system solution with products designed to work together.”
